Charlie Morton’s first start didnt last long. AHe tossed one scoreless inning, allowing one hit.
The Pirates said that he experienced tightness in his hamstring.
Jeff Karstens replaced Morton, who took Karstens spot in the rotation.

Rumor has it, that the Pirates have already signed a deal with Catcher Tony Sanchez, and he will be taken with the 4th pick in the draft,
Sanchez is the top rated catcher in the draft.
Signability is once again the biggest reason the Bucs go after him.

Jessie Chaves gets the final roster spot, over Evan Meek.
Meek had pitched pertty well during the spring, he just had some unfortunate events that have led him to be returned to the minors.
Chavez, and his 11.45 ERA, makes the team.
